The Direct_PDU™ power strip is for IT administrators who need a simple and cost-effective way to remotely manage the power requirements of their IT infrastructure.
The Direct_PDU power strips are designed for small to midsized businesses and have an on-board web interface for direct access over any IP network. Other features include individual power on/off control, power consumption metering and overload protection. The power strip has built-in alarms to notify the administrator when user-defined thresholds are reached via simple network management protocol (SNMP) traps and e-mail notification. The Direct_PDU power strip is available in 8- and 16-port vertical mount (0U) and 8-port horizontal mount (1U) units.
